What do you do?
We provide professional handymen to help you around your home and office. No job is too small from fixing a leaking tap to installing a doorbell.

Do I need you on an hourly rate or a formal estimate?
This depends on the size of the job we can advise you on this when you call.

Do you supply materials?
This again depends on the job, if you wish to keep costs to a minimum then you should source the materials yourself and we are always available to advise. At an extra cost we will supply the materials. We carry a selection of screws, nuts, bolts & washers etc. |
How do you charge?
We charge £60 for the first hour then £20 per subsequent half hour capped at £220 which is our day rate. Parking is charged at cost.

How can I pay?
We currently accept cash, cheques and direct bank transfers.

What is the procedure for booking you?
Call us free on 0800 8600 216, your call will be answered by one of our office team and they will take your details. They will pass this on to one of our Handiteam, who will call you straight back to discuss your job, and they will advise you as to whether it needs to be surveyed by one of our team or it can be organised via the telephone.

Will I have to wait in all day?
NO!!! We book you into our system on an hourly time slot and do our up most to turn up on time. Sometimes for reasons beyond our control, usually traffic, we may run a little bit late but we will phone you to let you know if we are delayed. |
When are you available?
Handiteam are available from 9 to 5 Monday to Saturday. We can arrange for works to be completed out of hours please ask when you call.

What happens when a handyman arrives?
When one of our team arrives they will look at the job and then confirm to you the time scale and price that has been estimated, if you are happy they will begin work. |
Are you insured?
Handiteam has full Public and Employers Liability insurance. |
